Enel X is Official Smart Charging Partner to the 5th Formula E Championship and will be supplying the charging technology for the entire competition. Formula E E-Prix
Recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, the fortified citadel of Ad Diriyah and its limestone plateau will provide the backdrop to the first race in the Formula E 2018/19 Championship. The 21 corners and bends of the 2.49 km long circuit evoke the sand dunes of the Arabian Desert.
Considered to be amongst the quickest and most challenging, the Moulay El Hassan route represents the only stop of the E-Prix in Africa and was designed to follow along the walls of the botanical gardens up to the district of Agdal where there are paved streets.
SANTIAGO DE CHILE
The Chilean capital is set to host the Formula E Championship for the fifth consecutive year, this time on a new circuit that promises opportunities for spectacular passes. The 14 bends alternate with a long straight and a sweeping semi-circular curve around the Movistar Arena, in the heart of O’Higgins Park, the second largest public park in Chile.
With its 2500 metres of altitude requiring special aerodynamic adaptations, the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez was redesigned in 2015 but retained its challenging curves and a long stretch for accelerations.

Following the first two seasons in Beijing, the Formula E Championship returns to China, this time to the tropical beaches of Sanya on the island of Hainan, where the widespread use of e-mobility ensures the best air quality in the entire country. Haitang Bay offers long straights on which the competitors can battle for the lead during the race.
With 21 curves spread over 2.84 km and the Marconi obelisk as its reference point, the Italian E-Prix returns for the second consecutive year to the EUR neighbourhood in the Eternal City. With EUR’s rationalist architecture providing the backdrop, this is the ideal racing circuit for strategists to put their skills in symmetry and geometry to the test.
In the heart of the French capital, the race is located around the Les Invalides complex of buildings: a stunning spectacle with zero environmental impact.
It resembles a huge half moon, but the Monaco track includes 12 bends and four long straights to put the power of electric vehicles to the test. Compared with previous seasons, the distances have increased and this year, for the first time, the drivers will be racing on the Formula1 circuit.
The former Tempelhof airport track offers a very different challenge from the usual circuits; the race manages to capture some of the timeless character of the German capital.
The final European race before the double-header season finale in New York, the Swiss capital will replace Zurich in this year’s race. The circuit has a triangular shape that follows the bend of the Aar River bank then plunges through the green of the Rosengarten and the Baeren Park (the famous Bear Park) to accelerate along the Schlosshandel Straße, close to the picturesque Egelsee Lake.
On the banks of the Hudson River, in the heart of Brooklyn, the race route offers postcard views of the Statue of Liberty.
